In honour of World Quality Week, The Africa Quality Academy will host Africa Quality Week 2023 with the theme “Quality: “Realising Your Competitive Potential” which is scheduled to happen from November 27 to November 30 at the Muson Centre in Lagos.

In order to provide essential professional stimulation for the advancement of quality management as a profession throughout the African continent, the Africa Quality Academy was founded.

It serves as a forum for the sharing of expertise in the fields of quality control, environmental health, and safety.

The event’s organisers revealed in a statement that Africa Quality Week 2023 will feature a number of events designed to raise awareness of the importance of quality management to individuals, organisations, and nations.

The Africa Quality Week 2023 will feature a conference, walk for quality road show, honorary fellowship conferment, exhibition, and awards. Special guests include Mallam Farouk A. Salim, DG of Standard Organisation of Nigeria; Jaques Snyders, MD of South African Quality Institute; Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite, Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Nigeria; Baboucarr Ousmaila Joof, Minister of Trade and Investment, Gambia; Dr. Boni Mehlomakulu, CEO of Bureau of Standards, South Africa; Chipoka Mulenga, Minister of Trade and Investment, Zambia; Ahmed Samir, Minister of Trade and Investment, Egypt; Koné Siaka, DG of Agence Ivorienne de Presse Cote D’Ivoire, Murenzi Raymond, DG of Bureau of Standards, Rwanda; and Dr. Athman Y. Ngenya, DG of Tanzania Bureau of Standards.

The Africa Quality Academy will also confer Honorary Fellowships to individuals who have contributed to the development of quality products and services in their organizations.

The Africa Quality Excellence Awards 2023 celebrate excellence in quality products and services in Africa, recognizing quality circles, leaders, and top performing businesses dedicated to quality innovation.
