It has been confirmed that Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, would give the keynote lecture at the 2024 Nigeria Development and Finance Forum.

The NDDF, a high-level meeting of leaders from the public, business, social, and international sectors, is set to take place in Abuja in May 2024.

The NDFF conference, with the topic “The Road to Economic and Social Welfare Transformation,” is being held in Nigeria for the first time after five prior editions that were held in London, Washington, DC, and New York.

The confirmation of Pate as the keynote speaker, according to a statement from Jide Akintunde, the convener of the Nigerian Democratic Forum (NDFF), is a step in the right direction. The planning group of the conference sought to bring together leaders who are essential to the goal of fostering fiscal reform, monetary stability, and social welfare in order to achieve sustainable economic progress in Nigeria.

On the subject of “Transforming Nigeria’s Population Health: Crowding in Policy, Market, and Social Actions,” he stated the minister would be speaking.

The minister announced that he would be attending the NDFF 2024 Conference, saying, “My keynote speech’s topic is in line with our vision and approach for Nigeria’s health sector renewal.”

“The goal of health policy under the administration of President Bola Tinubu is to improve governance, provide efficient and equitable access to quality health services, drive investment in healthcare value chains, and enhance health security for all Nigerians.”
